Transforming Growth Factor-alpha (TGF-α) , also known as sarcoma growth factor, TGF-type I and ETGF, is a member of the EGF family of cytokines. TGF-α is an EGF-related polypeptide growth factor that signals through the EGF receptor, and stimulates the proliferation of a wide range of epidermal and epithelial cells.Mature TGF-alpha shows approximately 93% amino acid sequence identity with mouse or rat TGF-alpha and is not species specific in its biological effects.

Reconstitution |
We recommend that this vial be briefly centrifuged prior to opening to bring the contents to the bottom. Reconstitute the lyophilized powder in ddH?O or PBS up to 100 μg/ml.For long term storage it is recommended that a carrier protein (example 0.1% BSA) be added. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles. |

The products are shipped with ice pack and can be stored at -80℃ for 1 year from date of receipt.

Recommend to aliquot the protein into smaller quantities when first used and avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
